I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
