The US-based firm Waymo has announced that its driverless cabs will be on offer for use on London's roads starting next year.
London will become the pioneering European city to introduce an self-driving taxi service, akin to those currently familiar in San Francisco and four other American locations employing Waymo's innovative systems.
Waymo confirmed that its fleet are currently en route to London and will begin driving on the city's roads in the coming weeks with experienced operators behind the wheel.
